The US Army Kicks!
mertealaur3 January 2008
Warning: Spoilers
OK... this episode starts really funny : with the US Army coming to James Woods High (Chris's high school from Quahog) and trying to brain wash teenagers so that they join the war in Iraq. In the beginning of the episode, Family Guy spoofs Mike Rooney, Ray Romano, Muddy Waters and The Wizard of Oz. The next day Brian goes to the recruitment office to tell his opinion, but unfortunately, he and Stewie get recruited and later sent to Iraq. The whole training at the Army is really funny (also because they spoof Zinedine Zidane! and mention 4 musicals from Broadway). On a second plan: Chris becomes a rock star at his high school and starts having attitude problems; so Marilyn Manson steps in and clears his head, also giving consistent advices to Peter on how to raise kids! The rest of the episode is hilarious, but it ends in a nonsense (the whole democracy just stepping in in Iraq; which is not quite that funny, but in terms of US politics is real)... In conclusion, just enjoy the show: another Family Guy classic!

The One Where Stewie And Brian Join The Army...
taylorkingston30 March 2015
Warning: Spoilers
I really love this episode. It makes me laugh, every single time. It's one of my favorite episodes from Season 5.

In this episode, Stewie joins the army, and signs Brian up at the same time. They go through basic training, which is hilarious and then they are sent to Iraq. They want to go home, so Stewie shoots Brian in the foot and Brian shoots Stewie in the foot, thinking they'll get discharged, but they don't, because of the lack of soldiers. They have a dead man guarding a door, literally. Meanwhile, Chris becomes the lead singer of a rock band. Peter and Lois hate it, so they get Marilyn Manson's help, and he talks Chris out of it.

Overall, I give this episode a 10 out of 10.
