Worst Travel Show Ever
dieselboy101019 January 2007
This is one of the worst travel shows I have ever seen. It is supposed to be a gay travel show, so they highlight some of the gay life in each of the cities they visit. To this show, that means men shopping for patent leather and transparent acrylic boots, the female host going somewhere called "P*SSY BAR" and the gay male hosts holding hands and skipping down the street.

The best quote I've heard from this show is from their Mexico City episode where the host starts off a food segment by saying, "Believe it or not, but Mexico has better Mexican food than even the United States!!" And he does it in all seriousness.

Also, instead of using interpreters, or having a guest host on the show who helps interpret, they have the people featured in the segments speak English. While the English is generally not bad, the result is telegraphic sentences that do not at all reflect the insight I'm sure these people would have speaking in their own language.

Take for instance the photographer in Mexico City, whose segment consisted of him saying, "Yes, I like to take pictures of Latino boys. They are very good looking. Yes. There something about Latino men so beautiful."

It is fantastic that gay programming has a home on a gay channel like LOGO, but... if a young homosexual with no idea what gay culture was like, or anybody else for that matter, flipped onto this channel, they would think that homosexuals are only obsessed with sex, dancing and women's shoes for men.

Skip this show if at all possible. The most it'll do is rot your brain and offend you, regardless of your sexual orientation.
