This movie is very Michael Moore, but for horses instead of people--the section about rodeos representing legalized cruelty to animals is spot on, and the Congressional clips are especially impressive (and depressing). Len Johnson's kindness and empathy is deeply impressive. Bruce Babbitt, American Airlines, that horrible hypocrite Baxter Black, and the Nevada legislators should be ashamed of themselves.
The movie as a whole is fantastic and jarring, clearly worthy of five stars. I only wish Len Johnson (the brilliant film maker) had not put in an odd 30 second clip that justifies cruelty to fish. Fishing also supports cruelty to animals, every bit as much as what's happening to these poor horses.
