Nothingness
lor_30 November 2022
Nothing happens, except for the requisite XXX sex, mechanically performed in this pointless clunker of a feature. It only exists because Vivid had Kira Kener under contract, and needed to release a certain quota of titles with her name appended.

Director Tommy Ganz pulled a fast one: I noticed several months later that his Kira Kener feature "Hollywood Hostel" was part of the same shoot that yielded "Any Dorm in a Storm" -same location, same costumes (inlcuding jogging outfit) for Kira and same role, with jsut some transiton footage and voice-voer creating 2 different fake-stories.

With dark hair, the great Rebecca Bardoux is nearly unrecognizable in the opening scene, humping away with Mickey G. In what looks like a storage room. Ugly, cluttered sets are the backdrop for sex throughout, visually a turn-off. But what makes this movie really awful is the inept editing by director Tommy Ganz, cutting rapidly back and forth between reverse shots, almost every second, to destroy most of the sex scenes, especially this first one.

Kira Kener wearing an unappealing jogging costume (covering her body head to toe) shows up and is hired as desk clerk at Mickey's hostel. Various people come to stay there, including Steven St. Croix in a pointless NonSex role. (He gets to have sex, with buxom Crystal Carter, in the other movie.)

Movie is nearly all-sex, and nothing remotely interesting happens. Considering a premise: "folks staying at a hostel", one could expect comical hijinks, maybe dramatics, or perhaps romance, but Mr. Ganz provides nothing. A documentary, or perhaps (horrors!) a tv special with chef Gordon Ramsay showing up to save the failing business might have been slightly diverting, but instead Vivid provides the usual 5 sex scenes, suitable for compiling into some video collection.
