- Dr. Raymond Stantz: I don't know what we're gonna do. The creature's gotten so big, there's no way he'll fit into a trap.
- Winston Zeddemore: We should try to communicate with it. It might be intelligent.
- Dr. Peter Venkman: Hey, if it were intelligent, would it be here sucking sun out of a wire? No. It'd be in Bermuda, lying on the beach.
- Dr. Peter Venkman: Hot diggedy! A government contract. Big bucks, here we come!
- Dr. Raymond Stantz: I dunno, Peter. I'm still concerned about how the equipment is gonna function in zero gravity.
- Dr. Egon Spengler: I've made some modifications on this extra equipment I've brought. But they may not be totally effective.
- Dr. Peter Venkman: Don't sweat it. No company with a government contract ever knows what it's doing.
- Winston Zeddemore: What if the stuff doesn't work?
- Dr. Peter Venkman: If it doesn't work, you just charge more and do it again!
- Dr. Raymond Stantz: [the creature is touching Winston with it's tentacles] It's looking for another energy source. You should be perfectly safe.
- Dr. Peter Venkman: Yeah, and don't worry, if he decides to eat you, we'll notify your next of kin.
- Winston Zeddemore: I don't have a next of kin.
- Dr. Peter Venkman: Too bad. I'll sell you mine.
- Dr. Peter Venkman: [facing a large tentacled monster] Go ahead boys, we're right behind ya!
- Winston Zeddemore: Go ahead and what? How do we know our Ion Riffles will work on that?
