Most of the time, it takes an enormous amount of effort and force (or trickery) to defeat Devastator. In this episode, Perceptor (one of the weaker Autobots) manage to blast him apart with a single shot.
The Autobot named Broadside uses an out-dated animation model.
In one shot, Devastator is seen standing next to Soundwave, and both of them are of the same hight. Devastator should be several times the size as Soundwave.
Ultra Magnus picks up two Constructicons, as if they were toys, and bangs their heads together. The Constructicons are in fact only a little bit smaller than Ultra Magnus, so their depiction as "small soldiers" is absurd. This is one of the most infamous of animation errors.
In one shot, you can see Brawn, Huffer, and Bonecrusher firing lasers at the Decepticons. Brawn and Huffer are dead by the time this episode takes place, and Bonecrusher is a Decepticon himself.
There are shots where different characters move their mouths than those who are actually speaking.
In one shot, Galvatron is drawn with a smile on his face, even though he is clearly angry and unhappy in the shot.
There is one shot in which Soundwave is flying right in front of the camera (he is drawn huge) and Blaster is flying behind him, much farther away (he is drawn tiny). Yet because of a strange error, Blaster appears in front of Soundwave, and the end effect is a miniature Blaster flying with an oversized Soundwave in the background.
In an infamous shot, Galvatron can be seen holding hands with Soundwave while flying. As if this were not ridiculous enough, his hand is actually painfully twisted.
Galvatron says that Zebop is 'probably' with the Autobots, yet he can clearly see Ultra Magnus standing near Zebop.
