Poet and filmmaker Greta Bellamacina has teamed up with journalist Davina Catt to document the history of British public libraries and their current decline. From their Scottish beginnings in the 18th century right up to present day, Catt and Bellamacina chart the history of UK libraries alongside interviews with the likes of Stephen Fry, Irvine Welsh, Amma Asante and John Cooper Clarke, who plead for libraries to be saved from relentless cuts

Mob City, Season 1, Episode 5, “Oxpecker”
Written by David Leslie Johnson
Directed by Guy Ferland
Mob City, Season 1, Episode 6, “Stay Down”
Written by Frank Darabont and David Leslie Johnson
Directed by Frank Darabont
Aired Wednesdays at 9pm (Et) on TNT
Mob City has had much too short of a first season, only 6 episodes, but every minute of those episodes have been used wonderfully. In every respect, the show is, simply put, stunning. From episode one, Mob City has done many things right, from the atmosphere to the writing and finally to the casting choices. “Oxpecker”, the night’s first episode, does something very interesting. Anyone who’s familiar with mob history knows where Sigel and Cohen ended up (Sigel died bloody in his girlfriend’s living room and Cohen died in bed at 62), but Mob City doesn’t try to change their stories or rewrite what we know is coming for the sake of drama.

After a twisted season of crime-fighting and occasionally just crime, "Graceland" had its season finale, "Pawn," on USA.
Jangles was revealed. Paul Briggs faced his fate. Mike ended his investigation. People kissed. Someone died. It was all very dramatic.
While lots and lots happened before "Graceland" Season 1 came to an end, highlights include:
Briggs sticks around
Everyone -- literally everyone, including the FBI and all the other agencies -- thought Briggs left the country. He didn't. Instead, Briggs spent the episode running around the area and looking for Jangles. Some other guy who needed a new life took that boat out of town.
Briggs might have been better off if he had left, considering what went down later in the episode.
Paige and Mike kiss!
The off-and-on sexual tension between Mike and Paige reached its high point in the finale -- the two kissed! Of course, the kiss was as...

An incredibly fun ride? We’ll see about that! Today, we have an exclusive clip from the upcoming horror movie Gangsters, Guns & Zombies, which comes from director Matt Mitchell and I’m sure you’re going to love it! In case you’re not so familiar with the whole zombie-thing, I will right here at the beginning, inform you that we’re talking about the UK indie feature film that does exactly what it says on the tin. So grab a tool, get your back against a wall and get involved!
So, Matt Mitchell & Taliesyn Mitchell stand behind the story which is set in post-zombie England where a botched robbery leads a motley crew of thieves into an apocalyptic battle with a zombie horde. Or, if you prefer more details:
Q only wants the quiet life but sometimes the only way to keep it quiet is to do what Tony tells him to do.

It.s no secret that I love Sam Worthington! Why? Because he.s sweet, charming, and he reads my blog! When I met him for .Terminator Salvation. two years ago, he surprised the heck out of me by pronouncing that he goes to my website. My little old website is being visited by Mr. Sam! (Check out my interview with the Worthington for "Terminator Salvation" right here, compare and contrast!)
So two years later, after the huge hits .Avatar. and .Clash of the Titans,. Sam and I are back in each other.s arms for the great film .The Debt.. I was mesmerized by this edge-of-your-seat thriller, and was very impressed with Worthington.s performance as David Peretz, the younger Mossad agent played by Ciaran Hinds decades later! Check out .The Debt. when it opens Aug. 31st.

It’s all over. As far as we can tell, Larry’s marriage to Cheryl has finally crumbled under the weight of his many foibles, and he’s moving on without a care in the world. What else would you expect from a man who bought Ted Danson a Freak Book for his birthday? That’s an assumption based on the fact that Cheryl Hines was absent for the entirety of the latest Curb Your Enthusiasm episode, and after the divorce antics that ensued in last week’s outing, I think it’s safe to say this season is going to focus on Larry’s adventures as man with his own interests in full focus.
Unlike that turbulent romance, however, the show moves ever onwards and upwards. “The Safe House”, the eighth season’s second episode, is solid Curb on every level: laugh-out-loud funny, packed with memorable lines,...

What Larry David perfected on Seinfeld, and continues to excel at on Curb Your Enthusiasm, is bringing multiple story arcs full circle. "The Safe House" was a perfect example. It went above and beyond, bringing each plot line conclusion to the forefront within the final five minutes.
The numerous stories included Larry reaching behind the women for the ice cream, Richard Lewis dating a burlesque dancer for her breasts, watching over the stranger's laptop, the battered women living down the street from Larry and racial profiling.
In one of the final scenes, we witnessed Richard pulling the exact same freezer move that Ld did. Of course, with Dale there instead of the house mother, Richard was in for a much more harmful fate, which led to the lack of a Breast Blowout on Lewis' last night of pleasure with the Double D's.
The other three plots came together so nicely,...

I'm taking a couple of days off this week before I head out to California for the Comic-Con/press tour double feature, and since I didn't see tonight's "Curb Your Enthusiasm" in advance, I don't have time to write much about it. Fortunately (or unfortunately), "The Safe House" was easily the weakest of the five I've seen so far (including the premiere, next week's episode, and two from later in the season), so I wouldn't have much to say even in another week. A couple of amusing isolated moments (the scene in the ER, for instance), but mostly an episode that was more awkward than funny,...

If your head is still reeling, and your heart still pounding, from last night’s episode of NCIS, you’re not alone. The first episode in the two-parter exploring the history between NCIS Director Vance (Rocky Carroll) and Mossad Director Eli David (Michael Nouri) was info- and action-packed. Fan favorite writer Jesse Stern has spent all season working on these two hours. Last night, we watched as Eli ventured off Israeli soil for the first time in 12 years to attend, in-person, Vance’s review of international case files with contributions from all living NCIS directors (Rip, Jenny). He wanted to...
