I'm sure every kid has been through what happens to DJ. She is a normal teenager that is just trying to drive like a normal person. But nobody can teach her like how it can be taught.
Having just got her learner's permit, Danny teaches DJ how to drive. He doesn't want DJ to drive, so he overreacts to everything DJ does behind the wheel. After a bad day with her dad, Jesse steps in to help. But his overly laid back attitude causes DJ to scratch his mustang. These polar opposites can have such negative effects on everyone.
First subplot involves Stephanie scarring Michelle for bugging her. The other has Becky wanting a family portrait done. This is very brief, but cute.
So this episode isn't bad. It is relatable. Lots of parents freak out when their kids drive. And the effect of polar opposites is done well here too.
