With family like this...
While Charlie Sheen goes through his latest round of rehab, insisted upon by father Martin Sheen and ex-wife Denise Richards following his hospitalization after a cocaine and porn stars binge, TMZ reports that one family member is actually seeking to take advantage of his troubles.
The site claims it has obtained a letter sent by representatives Sheen's uncle, Joe Estevez -- his father's brother -- to the producers of 'Two And A Half Men,' proposing that he take on a guest role on the show.
"Chuck, just a wild thought ... How about a test episode of 'Two and a Half Men' where Joe comes to house sit while Charlie is on 'vacation?,'" the site quotes the rep's letter proposing -- Chuck refers to Lorre, the show's producer. He tried a similar move when Sheen's contract was running out in April 2010.

William Johnathon Drayton Jr., aka Flavor Flav, is 51 years old today! Wow! Time flies huh? The Godfather of trashy reality TV (thanks to his classic Flava of Love series), and Public Enemy jokester, is apparently trying to make a solo comeback with a new music track (watch the pitiful video Here), however unsuccessful. He has done some acting, recently starring in his own TV show comedy sitcom titled Under One Roof, which aired for 1 season I believe, from 2008 to 2009. He’ll next be seen in something called Horrorween. I think the title tells you all you need to know.
Possibly the hardest working man in show business that you don’t know about (see Sergio’s post) Clifton Powell, is 54 years old today. He’s that black guy you see in almost every black movie but just may not know his name. Working consistently since 1981, Powell has never really had his moment to shine,...

Fango got ahold of an exclusive trailer and photo from Horrorween, actor/director Joe Estevez’s horror/comedy that, he tells us, is filled to the brim with genre cameos. The movie is about a newly wealthy Long Island family, their quest to build the best haunted house on the block and the murders that result.
“In directing Horrorween, horror has taken on a whole new meaning for me,” Estevez tells Fango. The sentiment is shared by the film’s producer, Ed Meyer, who insists the long-in-the-works feature will be something to behold. “This movie has taken on a life of its own,” he says. Keep your eyes here for further Horrorween updates.

Comedian Dom Deluise passed away yesterday in Santa Monica, California at the age of 75. Dom Deluise was a man, but his portrayal of the fiesty and over-the-top Aunt Kate in the 1986 classic horror homage Haunted Honeymoon makes this a sad loss for funny women in horror everywhere.
"My brother John, from whom you are all descended, was bitten on the back of his neck by something that was half animal, half human. From that moment on, he was hairy, all over." - Aunt Kate.
In addition to Aunt Kate, Deluise was the monstrous edible Pizza The Hut in Spaceballs, Guilt in an episode of Amazing Stories, Dr. Dudley in the 1960's TV horror series The Munsters, and just finished a cameo in the upcoming horror movie Horrorween...

Joe Estevez (brother of Martin Sheen and uncle of Emilio Estevez and Charlie Sheen) will be directing another indie horror film. Entitled Socio, the film follows an All-American high school senior and honors society president by day, sociopathic, cold-blooded serial killer by night; Roslyn Price has got it all: beauty, brains, and a body count that would make Ted Bundy blush. The tagline is pitched as "She's the picture of High School perfection.....and she's got a killer secret." Written by Jenna Delp, filming begins this April in Buda, Texas. Estevez recently got behind the camera for Horrorween 3D, which is still in post.
