Storyline
Plot Summary |
Appearance vs. Reality Syrup gets at the crux of the social media age. Three young marketing professionals navigate the fine line between accentuating the positive, in themselves and their products, and the lie of empty image. The more they lie, the more successful they become. The success may be real, but so is the pain caused by their lies. Each will have to choose between the success that the better lie will bring or the peace that comes with substance. Written by excaliburbs |

Quotes |
6:
The standard Vegas striptease is seven minutes long. The woman should remove her top at the four-minute mark. At six minutes, she should be naked... with the exception of an optional prop. The beginner's mistake is to get naked too fast, thinking that's what the audience is there for. [shakes her head] 6: It's not. *Sex* is biology. Sex appeal... is marketing. It's not the naked body that's exciting. It's the possibilities. See more » |
