Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • This episode contains heavy use of flashing lights throughout its second half, which in one scene was so intense that over 100 children were hospitalised, therefore causing not only this episode to be banned internationally but causing the show to go on a 4 month hiatus in Japan.
  • Hundreds of children had a legitimate seizure over the flashing lights, hence all the bans seen above.
  • There is flashing lights all over for the second half of the episode.
  • WARNING: The Flashing Sequence may cause a seizure if you suffer from them. Appearance of the Pokemon may frighten very young children. The episode has been banned world wide as a consequence of allegedly sending over 500 people (most of them children) to the hospital.
