"La Plaza" is one of the best shorts I've ever seen in a competition (It was one of the works selected to the Telefé Cortos contest in his firs edition) The visual work done in this movie it's unbelievable, considering that it was not filmed in an important format, but done in mini DV. The director had a very clear idea of what he want to accomplish and he made it possible. I think the images in this short were like paintings, and the director create them like a painter, thinking in every detail. I also ask the viewers that listen carefully to the music specially compose for this movie, and also the incredible work that had been done to create the scenery to the story, with very few elements but lot of creativity and hard work. If you like the movies of Tim Burton you will love "La Plaza" I recommend this short, it's a piece that shows the future of movie makers in Argentina and and the first work of a very talented director!
