Yancy Derringer and Pahoo take a train ride to Virginia City. They want to check on a silver mine that Yancy is part owner of with Judge Randall.
However the shady shenanigans start on the train journey. Bonnie Mason tries to be over friendly, making out that someone is staring at her. It is all a precursor to a shootout on the train but it fails.
When they arrive at Virginia City. Colorado Charlie tells him that there is a gravestone in town with Yancy's name on it. Also Judge Randall has been behaving erratically.
When Yancy goes to see the judge, held under guard. He tells Yancy that his grandaughter has been kidnapped by a man who wants to take control of the silver mine.
There is a good story here as Yancy and Pahoo are out of their comfort zone of New Orleans. A good shootout at the end as well.
