The Man Who Could Not Die was going to be developed into a Wonder Man type supporting character. This was just one of many spinoff attempts on this show which never came to fruition, along with Wonder Girl and Wonder Lad.
The only story in the whole series, in which Steve Trevor doesn't appear.
This episode establishes that Diana had transferred to the Los Angeles branch of the IADC and also bought a house there. Had the series continued, it was likely that future episodes would have taken place in Los Angeles instead of Washington DC. It makes sense seeing as how the series was filmed in and around Hollywood anyway.
Near the end, Diana suggests that Bryce could get a job at the circus and bill himself as the "Man of Steel'. Bryce responds by saying he would look silly in tights and a cape. This is the closest the series has come to referencing another DC Comics superhero, Superman.
For some reason, this episode uses passages from the score for "Vertigo" by Bernard Herrmann in its underscoring. (During the sequence where Diana is tied up in the garage.)
