Gavin Cochran is behind bars for carrying out s particularly grizzly murder, but another is carried out, in exactly the same way, Carol believes someone is helping him.
It's a much more grounded, down to Earth episode then the previous one, I liked that one, I really enjoyed this. It's a good mix of gritty, gruesome and quirky.
I made the mistake of eating dinner when this started, note to self, don't eat lamb chops and watch Wire in The Blood. You forget how much gorier TV shows were back in 2003, they are almost dumbed down today by comparison.
Hard hitting as well as gruesome, that poor homeless lad upsets me.
Some nice stunts, it looks and sounds great. The acting is first rate, Christopher Fulford is excellent as Gavin, but it's the sublime voice and acting skills of Stanley Townsend, who plays Geoffrey who makes this.
Very good, it hasn't dated at all, 8/10.
