Meet the Buchanans
bkoganbing3 July 2020
In this Virginian story David Hartman runs afoul of a mean and vicious family the Buchanans. The father is Harold J. Stone and the two fast gun sons are Clyde Ventura and Murray McLeod.

Hartman had a run in with Ventura before defending a friend Conlan Carter who was forced to sell his ranch to Stone. When he finds Ventura on Shiloh, Ventura forces a fight and Hartman kills him. Stone marks him for death and Doug McClure orders Hartman to stay bound to Shiloh. But as Randolph Scott says there are some things a man can't ride around.

Performances by Stone,McLeod, and Ventura dominate this Virginian episode. The final climax was a confrontation you will remember.
