I always regarded Tutti Frutti as a comedy drama that got darker as it went along.
The penultimate episode sees Suzi Kettles being visited by her estranged husband Stuart (David Dixon) who beats her up.
Meanwhile Vincent's wife Noreen goes to see Glenna and finds out that she is pregnant. Although Glenna has also lost the baby.
It also ends up in a fight with Glenna having o consider her long term future.
Meanwhile the Majestics are recording a track at the studio. It is a long, acrimonious and expensive recording session.
I did like Danny getting revenge on Stuart, a dentist by turning the troubles on him. Although the scene moved to the dentist's receptionist who thinks that it is Danny who is screaming in pain.
The humour is both sharp and silly. Danny thinking he has gone blind when he has sleep mask on.
Vincent is out of hospital after being stabbed and is in a wheelchair. When he gets angry blood oozes from his neck and accuses others of discriminating against him now he is in a wheelchair.
Maurice Roëves steals this episode and he should had been nominated for a BAFTA.
