- Tru Davies: Why isn't this completely freaking you out?
- Davis: I've seen a lot of strange things here. Very little shocks me.
- Davis: You're saving lives. It's - it's a gift.
- Tru Davies: No, candles are gifts. Boots, bath salts maybe, but this - this is - I don't know what this is. Do you?
- Davis: I don't. Not yet. But tell me Tru, how does it feel to know that somewhere out there someone's about to die and they're going to ask you for help?
- Lindsay Walker: [to Tru] You're already planning to breakup and you haven't even gone out with the guy yet?
- Davis: You memorize the license plate?
- Tru Davies: I memorize everything I can. Once they ask for help, I lose the body, any evidence. Only thing I can go on is what I can remember.
- Harrison Davies: I just want her back. That's all.
- Tru Davies: Without a scratch.
- Harrison Davies: No, no. Not the car. My sister.
- Davis: Just becasue it looks like an accident doesn't mean that it is. You should know Tru, in our business, things aren't always what they appear to be.
- Tru Davies: Thanks Davis... I've never had anyone help me before.
- Davis: I've never had anyone to help.
- Adam Whitman: Look, have you seen Amy? I can't believe she just took off like that.
- Tru Davies: Here's a hint: Girls in the movies like guys for their cars. But girls in real life like guys for who they are.
- Luc Johnston: [as Tru is leaving on their date] Are you okay?
- Tru Davies: No. Really, I'm insane. Because I'm about to walk out on a date that's actually *working*. But it's just there's someplace I have to be.
- Davis: Well, if it weren't for you, they wouldn't even have that.
- Tru Davies: If it weren't for *us*... Sometimes just being able to talk to someone makes it a lot easier, you know?
- Tru Davies: You know a friend of mine was saying that real life can't be like the movies. That maybe sometimes things are better left to mystery.
- Luc Johnston: Well, what good is mystery, if you don't try and figure it out?
