- Dr. Tony Newman: [Doug and Tony see two guards holding Ann, who looks as if she had been drugged] Ann.
- Dr. Doug Phillips: It really is you.
- [he and Tony walk closer to Ann]
- Dr. Doug Phillips: How'd you get here?
- Dr. Ann MacGregor: Doug? Tony? I- I was taken by force. Kidnapped.
- Dr. Doug Phillips: Well, how long have you been here?
- Dr. Ann MacGregor: I don't know. I- I don't- hours, days. They did something to me. Drugged me. Oh, let me go.
- Dr. Doug Phillips: Let her go!
- Dr. Tony Newman: Look, she can't harm you.
- Dr. Ann MacGregor: Please, let me go!
- Curator: Guards, release her.
- [the guards let go of Ann]
- Dr. Ann MacGregor: [sobbing] Oh, Doug! I don't know what I would've done without you.
- Dr. Doug Phillips: [hugging Ann to comfort her] It's alright.
- Dr. Doug Phillips: [he and Tony walk into a room where the curator is sitting at his desk] You know our names. How?
- Curator: I know much more than you realize.
- [Doug and Tony look at their surroundings]
- Dr. Tony Newman: Where are we?
- Curator: We need no roofs here. We have achieved perfect climate control.
- Dr. Doug Phillips: What year are we in? And where is "here"?
- Curator: A place from which you will never return. The year is 1910.
- Dr. Tony Newman: [laughs] Why, that's impossible.
- Curator: I will have it stated in terms of earth years.
- [swipes his hand over a sensor which opens a shelf of tapes. The curator takes one out and inserts it in a compartment of his desk]
- Computer Voice: 8433 anno domini.
- Curator: There's your answer. It is 8433 A.D.
