Mark Hamill (Larry) would go on to star in the remake of Child's Play.
Larry tries to convince Shakespeare to continue writing plays for children, and yet in 'Every Poe Has a Silver Lining', he has no problem convincing Edgar Allan Poe to become "the father of the macabre". This seems like an anomaly, but it's possible that he doesn't consider literature to be as much of a threat to children as theatre.
