Red is being very nice to Eric at work. And they both bond making fun of a coworker Earl that is a bit of a screw up. But then Red fires him and Eric knows that their bond is over. Michael is feeling bad about losing Jackie but then decides that she is too short for him to like and starts dating Laurie.
The story about Red and Eric was kind of boring even though I felt a bit bad for Earl.
I was also not a big fan of a Jackie story. The jokes about her being a whore are annoying. Even though it represents 70's well. But I would like to react her more indifferent about it. The good thing about her is that she does what she wants.
