This time, I am pretty sure this story is inspired from actual events. A very interesting story of a rabbi who helps other people. For instance some prisoners, inmates who have major problems, such as this one, a Russian refugee who run away from his homeland because of the Bolcheviks. Hugo Haas gives here a very convincing performance as the rabbi. I must say he looks very like a rabbi. This man, who is only a teacher and not a politician, is worth staring at. But twenty minutes are far enough to present him. I would have never neared a long length film with this topic. But, I say it again, this rabbi story had to be told. Such people are so rare, that it's a burden to speak of them.
