- Death Row inmate Billy Malone tells a journalist of how he survived an earthquake and found a portal to another dimension. Out of that portal popped young Keena, whose ensuing relationship with Billy seals his fate.
- The inventor Billy Malone is on death row, and journalist Adele asks for an interview in his cell, six hours before the execution by electrocution using an electric chair. He explains that after an earthquake, a ring appeared in his basement, and soon he learned that he could "fish" things from other dimensions and planets. He shows a ruby that he had picked up to his scum acquaintance, Jimbo, and the greedy Jimbo wants to join him and pick up more, but Billy refuses. On his 150th experiment, Billy brings a female alien, Keena, through who is also an inventor from an advanced civilization and capable of stopping time, and soon they fall in love with each other. But Jimbo comes to the basement to steal the ring, and soon he hurts people from other dimensions. He returns, asking Billy to take the ring back to his basement, but out of the blue, Jimbo, Keena and the ring vanish. Billy is accused of killing Jimbo by his neighbors that overheard their argument; and Keena, that could clear him, has not returned. Now, he is sentenced to die.—Claudio Carvalho, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
- Billy Malone is being interviewed by a reporter immediately prior to his scheduled execution. He has been convicted of the murder of a skeezy character named Jimbo. In flashback, he tells the story to the reporter.
After an earthquake, he discovers an interdimensional portal in his basement, through which emerges a strange but beautiful woman named Keena. She doesn't speak English, but like Billy, she is highly intelligent and inquisitive. She very quickly learns Billy's language.
The portal also ejects a number of precious gems, which Keena says are very common where she is from. Unfortunately, the gems are noticed when Jimbo visits, and he decides to blackmail Billy into giving him more so he can settle his debts. Jimbo's misuse of the portal results in his death.
Keena returns to her own dimension, and Billy is charged with Jimbo's death and sentenced to die in the electric chair. But before the execution can take place, there is a sudden interruption in power. Keena appears in the chamber and says she convinced the elders who rule her home that she should bring Billy back with her so they can be together. "What will I do there?" he asks. "You'll think. We'll be together." Keena says. Billy hands are suddenly free and he holds her, and when the lights come back on, the chamber is empty. The guards rush in to search the chamber, while the sympathetic reporter is elated and phones in her news, calling it "a love story".
