Edward Lytener : Well, we might only be made of light, but so are lasers!

Superman : [Superman encounters a burly cowboy Lytener hologram cracking his knuckles] Trying to scare me with holograms again?
[Lytener suddenly delivers a powerful blow to Superman, knocking him to the ground]
Edward Lytener : With the proper use of laser fields, the hologram actually feels quite solid, doesn't it?

Edward Lytener : [being caught and flashed with cameras] Get those lights out of my eyes!
Superman : You heard him. Put him somewhere nice and dark.

Luminus : Don't feel bad, Lois. It's not personal this time. I have bigger fish to fry now, and frankly, you're just bait.
Lois Lane : [sarcastic] Oh, yeah. That makes me feel better.
Luminus : Ah. Speak of the devil, and here he comes.
[she sees Superman approaching]
Luminus : Someday, I'll have to figure out how he's always watching over you.
[she screams as he cuts the brakes of her tram and the car falls]
Superman : [straining to stop it] Lois, I can't hang on for long! The tram's too heavy!
Luminus : Just wait, Superman. This is only the beginning.
Superman : Lytener.
Luminus : It's Luminus now. Tell me, Superman, feeling a little under the weather?
Superman : [to Lois] Quick! Give me your hand!
Luminus : Yes, tend to Lois. This was just a test. You'll realize what I've done to you in time. See you soon...
[vanishing]
Luminus : Even if you don't see me.

Lois Lane : Kent, do me a favor and cover for me at the Animal Rights Coalition.
Clark Kent : Where are you?
Lois Lane : Heading over to Truman Island. Got a tip on Lytener's next move.
Clark Kent : What happening to laying low until this guy was caught?
Lois Lane : It was driving me nuts is what happened.
Clark Kent : And if he takes a shot at you?

Lois Lane : If Lex is behind Lytener, he'll have covered his tracks. Put the hardware under another name.
Clark Kent : [seeing a Bat-Signal-ish "S" in the sky outside] And, uh, while you guys are on that, I'm gonna check if there's anything down in microfilm.

Superman : I don't play games, Lytener.

Superman : Good. If I can shoot a few of those satellites out of the sky, maybe I can let in some real sunlight.
Luminus : Sorry, Superman. No space jaunts for you today.
Superman : [seeing a hologram of Lois and Jimmy tied up] Where are they?
Luminus : Want to save them? All you have to do...
[turning into a glowing orb]
Luminus : ...is follow the bouncing ball.
Professor Hamilton : Superman, you're almost powerless. He's obviously trying to lure you in.
