Stone and Keller pursue a widow involved in politics
bellino-angelo201427 February 2018
Warning: Spoilers
In this episode a Commerce Dept. Officer is harpooned on his luxury boat. And Stone and Keller must sift trough the suspects, including a Senator, a boat builder and the officer's widow, who was also a friend of Stone.

The first thing I liked was the guest cast: Barbara Rush is perfect as a grieving widow, and she was still beautiful; Dick Sargent (known as the second Darrin on Bewitched) stars as a sleazy senator that tries to protect the widow and the political situation; Jeff Corey as a US Senator that advices Keller to stay away from all the mess.

Second I liked the way it ended, with Barbara Rush that is discovered at night while stealing a boat, and it's also discovered that she killed her husband.

Although I liked the cast, I found the plot very similar to the other episodes' plots. I recommend it strictly to the fans of the series.

Warning: Spoilers
This episode contains an elaborate subliminal gag. Barbara Rush is made to resemble a famous political wife of the time and I can prove it. Do this: 1. watch the episode 2. Google: " "soon to be disgraced politician" Streets 3. click on link for "Not Just a Soap Opera" blog, April 2017: Shattered Image-Streets of San Francisco- subliminal games 4. find the proof in the two spoiler images linked to in the post

Lame!
mm-3920 June 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Shattered Image has a quick paced murder. Who what when and where? Stones meets and old friend. Even with the evidence and a stroll down memory lane Mike Stone has a personal bias. Steve Keller takes on the detective fundamentals taught by Stone. There is a few plot twist and the story gets bogged down, and I fell asleep, but did not miss much! I seen the ending a mile away. Shattered Image I would skip this one. 3 stars. Skip this one.
