On Chulak, Teal'c has a secret encounter with Rak'nor and Ma'Kar to give support to a rebellion that is planned by the Jaffa warriors. Out of the blue, Rak'nor betrays Teal'c that is captured and sent to Heru 'ur to be tortured by Terok. Meanwhile Selmak is at the SGC and learns that Heru'ur and Apophis are making an alliance that will make Apophis more powerful in the galaxy. They have scheduled a meeting at a minefield and Selmak discovers that Heru'ur intends to give Teal'c to Apophis to show good faith. Selmak plans to use the mine to destroy Heru'ur's spaceship and Daniel helps him translating how the mines operate. Will their plan succeed? Will Teal'c be saved?
"The Serpent's Venom" is another engaging episode of SG-1. There are a few points that are not clear, like how the mine manual was achieved or what happened to Tobin system to be extinct. But Teal'c is trying to raise a rebellion against the false gods and maybe he might succeed in the future. My vote is eight.
