One of the Weakest Episodes So Far

The Kelownan government contacts the SGC to reestablish relations since they are near a war. They need military technology to defend themselves and they propose the trade per naquadria. The SG-1 has a meeting with three Kelownan representatives and one of them, Dr. Kieran, was the mentor of Jonas. They disclose that they have a naquadria bomb that will be used if they do not acquire defense technology. Later Dr. Kieran has private meeting with Jonas and discloses the existence of a resistance movement to the government. The SG-1 travels to the planet to decide what they should do to avoid the war and get the naquadria.

"Shadow Play" is one of the weakest episodes of "Stargate SG-1" so far. The story is a complete mess and the conclusion is absolutely disappointing. My vote is six.

Pointless episode focused on an underdeveloped character and tenuous backstory. The story lacked depth and lacked any effects or interesting sets. Decent enough acting.
