- While investigating the source of an addictive corn-like crop, SG-1 becomes involved in a firefight. They are forced to fall back to the gate, but as Daniel is dialing, both the Stargate and the DHD are beamed away.
- On a mission to trade in a promising corn type, which is also terribly addictive, SG-1 is taken captive by Worrel, a Lucian Alliance underling controlling production, who also holds them erroneously responsible when their stargate disappears (as on several planets). General Landry works on Nerus's appetite for food and freedom and outsmarts him to find out that the thief is Ba'al, who plans not only the ransom but to start a new Goa'uld empire, track them and plant a computer virus. After the Odyssey (Prometheus' successor) rescues SG-1, SGC and the Alliance commander Netan try to take on Ba'al and each other.—KGF Vissers
- SG-1 travels to P6G-452 after receiving reports that the food supply on several planets may have been tampered with. Mitchell meets with Worrel, a member of the Lucian Alliance, pretending to want to buy a large supply of corn, but their initial meeting doesn't go well. When they attempt to leave the planet, the gate and DHD are beamed away. With their return overdue, Gen. Landry dispatches one of their new ships, the Odyssey, to rescue them. Landry learns that someone is stealing gates from different planets and seeks help from Nerus, who is imprisoned at Area 51. He confirms that Ba'al is behind it all and is out to recreate his empire.—garykmcd
- The SG-1 is assigned by Gen. Landry to go to a remote planet to investigate the adulteration of a corn-like supply sold to several planets, and Mitchell poses as a smuggler trying to buy the entire crop from a criminal from the Lucian Alliance called Worrel. However, things go awry, and the SG-1 flees to the Stargate. Out of the blue, the Stargate and the DHD vanish in front of them, and they are captured by Worrel and his gang that wants to know where the Stargate is. Fortunately, they are beamed up and rescued by the Odyssey. When Gen. Landry learns that several Stargates have disappeared on several planets, he decides to meet Nerus in his jail cell in Area 51 and uses his appetite to find out who is stealing the Stargates.—Claudio Carvalho, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
