A good episode

Warning: Spoilers
Stargate Command is visited by Bra'tac, who has barely survived an attack on Chulak, which claimed the life of Moac. He tells them that Apophis is still alive and is now commanding the dead Sokar's forces, making him in fact the most powerful Goa'uld.

Apophis has taken control of Sokar's forces and is racing the Tau'ri to search for the Harcesis, a child with all the knowledge of the Goa'uld, on Kheb. SG-1 gets there first, but it is only a matter of time before the enemy catch up to them.

This episode is a continuation of the story line involving the Harcesis child, with a return of Bra'tac, the episode has a few humorous moments and although not the best in the season still warrants a 7 out of 10 from me, well put together show

Good episode

The writers went out on a limb here and I respect that. Anyone familiar with Zen can appreciate this episode. (It would seem nonsense to the average viewer) It's not everyone's cup of (Zen) tea. Thanks for the episode

Episode for thinking people Warning: Spoilers
This episode is nicely balanced humor, intelligence and different ways to achieve a goal. Action people stay away, intelligent people welcome. Very different episode from most of them but stays nicely on the path of SG-1 series. I love these kind of balancing episodes where the original goal is kept but otherwise very different. I gave it 9.

That boy is mine

A rather anticlimactic episode that doesn't have much character development. The team didn't work well together. Decent effects and CGI, set felt generic.

Boring

Bra'tac arrives in the SGC with an injured apprentice and informs that Apophis is alive and controlling Sokar's Goa'uld army. He was looking for the Harcesis child and has destroyed Chulak. Daniel tells that the baby is hidden in planet Kneb but he does not know where it is. Bra'tac tells that Kneb is a mystical planet and after a brain storm, the SG-1 discover the location of the planet. They head to the planet and they find a Buddhist temple of Oma Desala, where they meet a monk. The monk trains Daniel and soon he is able to use his mind in another level. Meanwhile Jack is worried since Apophis is arriving in Kneb with his army.

"Maternal Instinct" is a boring episode of "Stargate SG-1". The story is annoying and quite pointless and this show is a waste of time. My vote is five.
