An Elephant Makes Love to a Pig (#1.5)
ComedyFan201014 February 2015
Warning: Spoilers
Another of early South Park classics. This episode doesn't have as many laugh out loud jokes to me as many others but it does have many great South Park elements.

First we get introduced to the genetic engineer. And we get to see his crazy world of the animals with four asses.

We also meet Stan's evil sister and the episode mocks the idea of how girls can't hurt boys as well as brings many funny Cartman lines on what he would say to a woman.

And also the crazy story of getting the elephant and pig drunk so they have a baby. The ending is a fun surprise as the pig's baby ends up looking like Mr. Garrison.

Waking up Next to a Pig

Okay episode. Got pretty bored honestly, though it was funny. 7.3 still good for the first season but the characters have yet to find their way. Kyle saying retarded was great too what can I say.

Classic South Park.

South Park is often taking aim at the absurdity of life and attempts to prick the bubble of seriousness regarding topics the world gets very wound up about.

Some great Chef stuff in this episode. His simple take on everything is always a perfect place for some cut-though humour. The words 'making love' attributed to animals is hilarious. It reminds me of the Madonna film, Body Of Evidence when she asks "have you ever watched animals make love...it's intense". It's such a stupid film and such a stupid delivery, desperately trying to steal some of that Sharon Stone pulp from Basic Instinct.

It's hard to talk seriously about this. The genetic engineer ends up like Dr Frankenstein, shooting his own creation in the head (which happened to be a lobotomised Stan) while the boys get all angsty about the unthinkable prospect of losing a fight to a girl. It's classic South Park.

I laughed my head off: "I have created things that will change the world for the better. For instance, here's a monkey with four asses"

While this ain't a really fantastic episode there's some bizarrely cool stuff. It marks the very first appearance of Stan's sister Shelly and of Dr. Mephisto and it is mostly about genetic engineering. Of course during this show an elephant makes love to a pig, of course it sounds pretty bizarre but in order to have an elephant of the size of a pig (Kyle's new pet is an elephant but his mother for obvious reasons won't let him have it) its seems the way to do it instead of the genetic engineering (Chef is of course the one who gives the idea to the kids since, and as that song says, "pig and elephant DNA just won't splice!"). Very memorable and hilarious bits come from Cartman in relation of what he would do if a girl try to beat the s*** out of him (the other issue in this episode deals with Stan suffering the abuse of his own sister) and from Dr. Mephisto and his crazy and dumb as hell genetic experiments (also is quite amusing the clone of Stan and that part with Pip, it's a return to the construction paper for just some moments!). Oh, and boy is the ending hilarious! Mr. Garrison...

Very good first season episode

Ah, these old season 1 South Park episodes bring me nostalgia(even though I only started watching the series back in 2002).The show changed as the series progressed. It is now more of a political satire than a stupid funny animated comedy(I love both). An Elephant Makes Love To A Pig is a very good episode of Season 1.In this episode, Kyle gets a pet elephant but his mom will not let him keep it in the house. So he decides to make small pig-elephants to keep in the house, so he decides to genetically mutate it with Cartman's pig.He does this for a science fair to beat these other kids who want to genetically mutate a human. They try to mutate the pig but decide not to after seeing how weird the man who runs the mutation plant is.So Chef decides to help them make their creature using sex.Meanwhile, Stan is being beaten by his sister Shelly. The other boys make a mutation of Stan(who'se blood their father, the man who runs the mutation place took). However the mutation goes wrong and there is a half-human half-mutant version of Stan who goes on a rampage through town.Stan is getting blamed for the havoc and the boys must stop them, but not before Stan tries to make his mutant clone teach his sister a lesson. This is a very funny and good early episode!

We should all be allowed to own a potbellied elephant
Nolamoviedude8 February 2019
Warning: Spoilers
We start off with Stan's sister beating him up and Cartman giving his stance on women. " Hey get in the kitchen and make me a pie" "Knit me a sweater before I slap you in the face" "Stop dressing me like a mailman and making me dance for you while you smoke crack and have sex with someone I don't know on my dad's bed" (Insert the laughing with tears emoji)

Kyle sets out to make his potbellied elephant and goes to this creepy cloning lab. The lab director does weird genetic experiments like making a monkey with 4 buttocks. When Stan's pig has it's babies, it comes out with Mr Garrison's face!

Kenny dies when a cloned Stan puts Kenny in a microwave

This marks the 1st episode where Cartman says "Screw you guys, I'm going home"
