Another contradictory premise

The device project is a dud because they don't have a small enough power supply but Steve's arm power unit makes it work. Steve has 3 such units and so does Jamie and the car driver has 4 but somehow they can't make another. The episode itself is standard fare. A pretty lady, some bad guys and some silly dialog. Still an enjoyable watch with all the usual bionic tomfoolery. Now it seems I must go on for two hundred characters or so to satisfy some inane criteria. Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered, weak and weary, Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore- While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping, As of some one gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door.

"'Tis some visitor," I muttered, "tapping at my chamber door- Only this and nothing more."

When Steve says the was no power getting to the starter.

When Steve says the was no power getting into the starter, obviously not is not correct. Whoever wrote the script does not know about cars. If you hear the starter cranking but not starting, the power is getting to the starter, the problem could be fuel pump, fuel filter, or problem with distribution of power to the spark plugs. In the 70s prob. still using carburetors rather than computer controlled system. Regardless, it would be anything other than power to the starter.

SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAN Episode with Elke SOMMER
ZeddaZogenau22 March 2024
In the 6th episode (Survival Underwater / H+2+o=Death) of the fourth season, the SIX MILLION DOLLAR MAN (Lee MAJORS) gets it on with the beautiful scientist Dr. Ilse Martin (Elke SOMMER), who has invented a new type of breathing device for underwater. Of course, a secret organization is also interested in this, so the agent equipped with superpowers has to intervene...

This action series with Lee MAJORS (before THE FALL GUY) was produced in the 1970s, but only ran on RTLplus in West Germany from 1988. What is particularly interesting about the episode mentioned, which was first broadcast on US television on October 24, 1976, is the cast of the German actress Elke SOMMER (GOLDEN GLOBE 1964 for DER PREIS). Her most successful phase in Hollywood was a few years ago, but her popularity was enough for repeated appearances in American television series between appearances in the Roman CINECITTA. Here she plays a tough and somewhat shady person who can give Lee MAJORS first aid with mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.

Very nostalgic! Was currently on the German TV channel RTL NITRO.
