Falling down a well--Simpsons' style
athomed31 December 2011
This episode is a true gem from season 3. The episode begins with Homer giving Bart a Superstar Celebrity Microphone. He's not excited initially but Bart eventually figures out a use for it: pranks. Bart's pranks with the microphone continue to escalate until all of Springfield is getting duped.

Sting guest stars very effectively in this episode. One of my favorite moments is the song "We're Singing Our Love Down the Well". Put Krusty, Sideshow Mel, Rainier Wolfcastle, and Sting together on a parody of songs like "We Are the World" and you've got comedy magic. The most laughs are had there and in the town's handling of "Timmy" and Bart's predicament in my opinion.

Check out this episode. If you've already seen it, still take another look. This is a good one.

Very Amusing Episode!

This is the thirteenth episode of the third season of the Simpsons and once again, it's a brilliant episode. Basically the moral of the story is don't prank people, because it will usually go wrong. And we get to see the hilarious consequences that Bart creates for creating a prank on Springfield. Sting was a good guest star and I loved the parody on turning the charity song, "We Are the World" into "We're Sending Our Love Down Into The Well."

In this episode, "Radio Bart," Bart gets a microphone for his birthday and he decides to use it as a prank. He makes up this guy named Timmy O'Toole and he is trapped down the well which causes Springfield to try and help him. But when Bart accidentally falls down the well, the whole town decides to leave him down there.

Overall, this is an excellent episode, and one that should have won that Emmy award. But nonetheless, it's very entertaining and one of the best episodes this season. Another episode that shows the extent of Marge's and Homer's love for their boy. I rate this episode 9/10.

Down that well!
richspenc10 February 2016
"Down that well!" was yelled out by Krusty the klown during the song "we're sending our love down that well" while the so- called Timmy O'tool was trapped down a well. The song was sung in style of USA for Africa's 1985 hit "We are the world", which was also sung by a bunch of then popular singers grouped together for a charitable cause. Timmy O'tool was so-called because he was fictionalized by Bart, who made up that name and the falling down the well story as a large prank he played on the whole town. This is a typical " what goes around comes around" episode, where Bart ends up getting a taste of his own medicine. Ahh, sweet karma. The whole getting trapped down the well thing is reminiscent of the real life event of baby Jessica getting trapped down a well in Texas in October of 1987. This episode also had the "mmm...chocolate. D'oh!" joke from Doh'mer, I mean Homer. And of course, there's also the "property of Bart Simpson" labels Bart made from a label maker (one of which was put on something which was to give his little prank away) that he got as one of his dismayed birthday presents we got a short montage from (Homer to Bart before opening his radio present: "I bet you think nothing will possibly top that cactus")(Homer when seeing a "property of Bart Simpson label on a beer: "ohh, there's only one beer left and it's Bart's).

Stellar Episode!

This is one of the Simpsons' best episodes. It is very witty and funny, and the voice acting is great. You can see many of the characters begin to look more like the final product.

Bart's pranks in the first half are hilarious, and the second half where he gets stuck in a well is very funny.

This episode also introduces Willy, one of the Simpsons best characters.

Overall, it is a fun and entertaining episode.

When The Simpsons was great

Warning: Spoilers
It's hard to believe Radio Bart is nearly 30 years ago, and it never ages. Definitely one of the best episodes, and Sting's cameo is inspirational and hilarious all at once.

Well, Well, Well

Home gives Bart a microphone that can be heard on a radio. He pretends a guy name Timmy has fallen in a well and it draws a huge crowd. Sting shows up and there is also a We Are the World fund raiser, organized by Krustie. But Bart makes a huge mistake and pays dearly for it.

Rod! Todd! This is God

Bart has a microphone and radio for his birthday.

This is an entertaining episode with one of Bart's greatest pranks.

Billy Wilder's 'Ace in the Hole' is an excellent satire of humanity and 'Radio Bart' parodies elements of it nicely and with great humour.

I love the attitude of everybody when they find out the truth.
