Maggie's stay at the "Ayn Rand School for Tots" daycare center spoofs "The Great Escape". After the pacifiers and bottles are confiscated, Maggie derives a scheme to retreive them. During this attempt the up-beat "scheme" theme song from the movie is played. When the attempt fails, Maggie is thrown in "The Box" just as Steve McQueen is thrown in "the cooler". The final detail added, when Maggie is taken to "the box"; another baby throws her a ball which is a nod to how Steve McQueen passes the time by throwing a ball against the wall and catching it when he is in "The Cooler".All That Jazz (1979)
