surprisingly not a letdown

The foregoing episodes were totally junky. Not necessarily throughout, there are good moments in there, but overall... to sum it up, it doesn't live up to the fun intro. Silliness when tongue in cheek doesn't quite cut it when it just feels like a bad script.

So when this one started I wanted to hide. The setup is so implausible. The guy went to all that trouble? Hell, he crisscrossed the whole house with a network of bombs? How boringly unimaginative.

But something about the episode, especially the character dynamics, D. D. like the child in the house... the close-ups... It's really something smaller fitting in with the low budget. But it works. Well, not throughout.

Be warned it is still inane. But it's not as cringeworthy and at least, no multiple screens. So I didn't dislike it as much. D. D.'s antics and the funny dialogue (see Quotes section) made this worth it.

Series is still thoroughly disappointing, but Kristen Miller is a feast!
