In the scene with Samantha doing manual labour, an unseen person obscured by sunlight is referred to as Leonardo DiCaprio twice, however the closed captions (subtitles) read "John-John" and "JFK Junior" instead. As this episode was originally aired 12 days before JFK Jr's fatal plane crash, the narration has obviously been re-recorded or dubbed with Leo's name for all subsequent airings for sensitivity reasons, but the file for the subtitles was clearly never updated to reflect the change. This is the second time that John-John has been mentioned, a likely nod to his previous relationship with SJP, although the Season 1 episode wasn't dubbed, either because it was dialogue and harder to mask, or less of a problem being much earlier than his death.
Miranda's cat is named "Fatty" because after buying her first apartment she overfeeds the cat due to fear he will eat her face if she were to die alone.
This marks the first time Carrie says the famous catchphrase, "And Just Like That."
