Poor Jed Collins is framed for embezzlement by another employee at the bank where they both work. Then, he is kidnapped by an outlaw gang and forced to participate in a stage robbery. This eliminates any doubt as his guilt in the embezzlement. It's the final straw for Jed when he sees a newspaper saying that his wife has died and left his grieving little daughter to be taken in by Dale. Jed flees the outlaw hideout with one of the gang in pursuit. Jed is wounded by the outlaw and left for dead. Roy intercedes but gets captured by the rest of the gang. It's up to Bullet to single-pawedly rescue Roy and alert Pat and Dale to an impending bank robbery.
