A Prowler is in the neighborhood.
Sleepin_Dragon6 January 2021
A Prowler is tormenting the delectable Miss Jones, Rigsby believes it's either Alan or Philip, or some other member of the Permissive Society. Fortunately a Detective is on hand to help out.

So it's perhaps not the funniest episode of the first series, but it's still good, it has some funny moments, it's just up against such strong competition. Maybe it's the fact that it's quite telegraphed, you what's coming, but that doesn't matter.

There are however some very funny moments, the hole in the floor causes a few laughs.

George Sewell is excellent as Baker, such a competent, charismatic actor.

Solid, 7/10.

The Prowler
Prismark1020 March 2018
Rigsby hears Miss Jones scream who thinks she has seen a prowler peering through the window.

Rigsby thinks it could be Philip or Alan. While Rigsby checks his money hidden under the floorboard he is interrupted by a plain clothes detective who invited himself into the house looking for a strange man in the vicinity.

The detective questions everyone, suspects Rigsby but then leave before taking one last look around the place. After all he now knows where Rigsby has hidden his money.

A wryly amusing episode as you know what the twist is going to be. Rigsby blames puts the fault of the rising crime rate on the permissive society as he suspects Philip and then Alan for being up to no good.
