- Some sexual references.
- Ren mangles a frog in a sexual manner by putting a stick of dynamite into his rear end.
- There is a scene where Ren's parents have sex while the sound of a chainsaw goes on in the background. it's not shown on-screen, but loud moaning is heard.
Violence & Gore

- When a baby is first born, an abusive doctor is shown cutting a cord in half and blood spurts out; the severed cord then retracts into the womb of the mother.
- Throughout the episode, Ren is pictured tormenting various animals. He plucks the legs off of a caterpillar. No blood is shown.
- A frog is electrocuted, run over with a tricycle and set on fire. This is all cartoonish and there is no blood.
- A woman vomits on a pet cat.
- A deer eats a placenta off of a hospital bed, leaving a bloody stain on the mattress.
- Much of the violence portrayed in this episode, in light of the original series, is made up of cartoon slapstick. Even then, some of the violence is graphic and may potentially disturb fans of the original show.

- In one scene, Stimpy calls Ren a "son of a bitch".
- Very mild. "Crap", "damn" and "hell" are used throughout. One use of "fuck" and "pussy".

- After child Ren stops beating up the frog, He starts smoking a cigarette with another child
- When Ren is first born, both of his parents, including the doctor are shown smoking cigarettes in a hospital room.
Frightening & Intense Scenes

- The overall theme of this episode (and the main thing that makes it one of the most hated episodes of all time) is watching Ren slowly turn from an established character to a complete, sadistic psychopath.
- The story of Ren's abusive childhood as well as his treatment of various animals may disturb younger viewers.
- The morbid, oppressive tone of the episode may unsettle several viewers.
Spoilers
Violence & Gore
- At the end of the episode, Ren goes wild and brutally beats Dr. Horse to death with the rear end of a pistol. A pool of blood forms as he lies dead on the floor.
- Ren eats off a dog catcher's hand offscreen (no blood). Blood then sprays from the man's sleeve.
- When Ren brutally pistol whips Dr. Mr. Horse (off-screen) and the dogcatchers come, a blood pool can be visible.
- In the end, Ren brutally pistol whips Mr. Horse to death and two dog catchers arrive and Ren bites off one of the catcher's hands off as they take him away.
