There are two children shown tossing a ball in the day care enclosure when Jim and Linda Darcy arrive. In the next shot, the Darcys enter the enclosure to look for Jane, and the two children are gone.
Linda's Ford Galaxie is seen with a California license plate IET 565 with a black background and yellow lettering, but her car frozen has an unnamed state license plate with a white background and black lettering 96 485.
Near the end, after pilot Jim Darcy fixes the truck so it stops, he runs back to the car and his X-15. Everyone is frozen in time, but when he rounds the fence, keen eyes will catch somebody walking in the background near some trucks. Verified at time stamp 45:14 behind the very large light truck facing forward and the darker truck/jeep sitting sideways to the camera exactly as Jim rounds the fencing.
Three different X-15's are seen in the flight at the introduction: The 66672 can be identified after take-off and then when its engine is fired, the 66671 is then seen prior to launch, the 66672 is seen again at time of launch, and the 66670 is seen dropping after launch.
In the close-up stills of little Janie on the Trike, she has a nice wide smile. For other cameras pulled back to film live action, little Janie isn't always smiling. In fact, she seems to have a very stern determined look on her face. This is very evident beginning at time stamp 44:53 and does also occur early in the film.
The Darcys' watches have stopped, and Jim says it is because of the time rift they are in. The time rift would not affect the watches because Jim and Linda Darcy are subjectively in normal time.
At 18:20, Jim and Linda Darcy run through the desert, their legs brushing aside the grass and sagebrush. Because of the time rift, the desert plants should be as rigid as sheet steel, ripping their clothing and tripping them up rather than wriggling aside. Mounds of dirt should be like mounds of concrete and not raise any dust at all.
At 48:29 when the test pilot and his wife drive back to the base in the jeep, the shot is flipped so the direction of the car is correct, but it leaves the pilot driving on the right side of the jeep.
At 26:50, Janie's head can be seen moving slightly (amidst other little motions), even though she is supposed to be frozen in time.
At 23:58, before the limbo being arrives, the frozen man holding the pencil has trouble keeping absolutely still.
The stills of objects arrested in time show obvious blurring and flaws in the film plates.
When Jim Darcy levels off from a dive, the objective POV of his plane's cockpit straightens rather suddenly. An experienced jet pilot would never climb out of a dive that abruptly when flying at supersonic speed.
Though frozen in time, at approximately 25:54 a spot suddenly appears on Janie's neck. It remains in subsequent shots.
At 30:18, a distant car can be seen traveling in the time-frozen world.
The Limbo Being warns Jim and Linda Darcy to return, respectively, to their plane and car before their time rift expires. Jim wears a pilot's uniform, but there is no way the Limbo Being could guess that Linda was driving a car when she entered the time rift.
The Limbo Being is afraid of fire but later as he ducks from the flare he says the worst thing is he can't die. If fire can't kill him then he has no reason to be afraid of someone holding a cigarette lighter or a flare.
In mid chase, the coyote and jackrabbit appear frozen in time like everything else, but later on when seconds have elapsed, they are still in the same positions.
At 25:19, Jim and Linda return to Janie and the matron. Unnoticed, the matron stands on her right foot. Earlier at 20:12 she was on her left. This makes sense as time is moving slowly for her, where about a second has elapsed in her time, but at 29:19, the matron stands again on her left foot. This is too soon.
Fearing an explosion, pilot Jim Darcy asks for a fire extinguisher as soon as he exits his crashed airplane. Minutes later, however, he lights and smokes a cigarette right beside it, chance of an explosion be damned.
