Dick shows amazing patience in this episode. Stephanie ends up in the hospital for an appendectomy. It turns out it was pretty serious and she needed a transfusion. Because she had a rare blood type the blood came from Darryl number two. Through the entire episode, she and Michael are probably more entitled and mean than any time in the past. She bosses people around, makes fun of people, asks for things and then complains. There is one scene where Dick brings in a stack of magazines for her and she looks at the models on the covers and say, "Prettier than her," to each of them and then throws the magazines aside, having no intention of reading them. She also has a little silver bell that she rings when she wants something. But when she finds out that Darryl 2 is her savior for the blood she yells at being contaminated and throws him out of her room. Eventually, she must deal with her cruelty. In another subplot, since Joanna is out of town, Dick needs to look after George. The first day he eats 23 pounds of a 24 pound turkey and all the mashed potatoes. Eventually his doctor says he needs to go on a diet and George becomes insufferable.

Stephanie has appendicitis and needs emergency surgery. Darryl #2 gives her a blood transfusion.

A funny episode for Stephanie and a rare chance for Darryl #2 to have the spotlight. This starts with a hilarious moment when Dick gets a phone call from a hysterically crying woman but it turns out to be Michael! Stephanie is disgusted at first at the blood transfusion but feels bad when Darryl's feelings are hurt. They have a nice scene together at the end.
