A nice couple of guests become friends with the Loudons, thoroughly enjoying their stay. The day they are to leave, they announce they have bought a large Victorian house down the street and are turning it into an Inn. Soon the place takes off and the Stratford is getting no business at all. There are some really funny things involving Stephanie who really wants a job where she can get paid and do nothing. Creative ideas such as babysitting and serving breakfasts in bed are fueling her lethargy. Also, the boys come over. They have the idea of reselling used meals (where someone only took a bite out of a hamburger, for instance). They are also upset that the Stratford's lack of business is hurting theirs. One thing I wonder about. Stephanie serves food. Is she doing all the cooking which seems a big job for her disinterested person.

A couple guesting at the Stratford decide to open their own inn right down the block from the Loudons.
A funny episode finding Dick and Joanna losing all their business to the new inn. Stephanie at first likes having no guests and no work. Larry and the Darryls have a funny scene where they come up with an idea for re selling leftover food. There is a couple who check into the Stratford only because they are on the waiting list for the new inn.
