A disturbing image of the anti-Cher.

While this episode is funny and campy on the surface, when you begin to stop and think about it, it really isn't all that funny. Maxwell has a celebrity recovering from plastic surgery hiding in the house, and Fran is desperate to find out who it is. It turns out to be Cher, all those are real deal does not appear. You hear someone's voice coming out of the walking mummy, repeating over and over again who she is, and while it does sound like her on the surface, obviously it is not. Gossip gets around that Cher is hiding at the Sheffield, and to get the press distracted so Cher can leave, Fran arranges for her cousin Ira, a Cher impersonator, to perform as her and what a sight it is. "Where does he perform as Cher? At Sea World?", Maxwell inquires, and indeed, he is quite a sight. It's rather disturbing in the closing credits to see them trying to hail a cab and the cab screeching away. The only really funny elements of this is arguments over whether men gossip, and the revelation of where the press got the news about Cher from indeed proves that men do just as much as women even if they deny it.
