Statler and Waldorf provide a rare sentimental note when they perform "It Was a Very Good Year". They add that it was a terrific year when they were 63, but the year the turned 74 was a terrible year. Jim Henson, who played Waldorf, left us at age 53 in 1990 and Richard Hunt, who played Statler, two years later at the mere age of 40.
