This episode one from season 4 Sep. 1979 of "The Muppet Show" featuring John Denver is one that was good heartfelt and very memorable. John Denver was in his day and time a very popular folk and pop country singer as his tunes always brought a bright positive message and with this episode it proved it. One skit and parody featured the Muppet gang portraying things like the Civil War and other fields of battle, in the meantime they were singing a message of peace hoping that all can just get along. Then Denver and the Muppets promote planting a garden as sending the message to the young and for people to eat healthy was right on. Overall fun good episode that also was a tease of maybe perhaps Kermit the frog taking a trip to his home birthplace of a frog swamp! Highly memorable episode that was entertaining and heartfelt as it sent good messages!
