Lily Munster: Who were you calling?
Herman Munster: Oh, I was just trying to make an appointment at that new barbershop.
Lily Munster: What's wrong with your old barber?
Herman Munster: Oh Lily, he always made me very nervous, dear, the way he'd always blindfold himself before he'd give me a shave.

Time To Get Out Of The Business!
Who remembers Pat Harrington? Well, probably most people who remember television back in the 1960s and 1970s where Pat was seen regularly as a guest actor on some show. That career successfully stretched into the '80s when he was "Schneider" on the popular "One Day At A Time" TV show. Harrington is still with us, but hasn't done much in front of a camera the last 5-10 years. He was terrific in comedies and was seen on an earlier Munster episode called "Pike's Pique."
Here, he plays "Thatcher," a Museum of Natural History employee. He and fellow Egyptologist "Dr. Wilkerson" (Philip Ober, another familiar face on TV in the '60s) are excited to have in their museum "a perfectly preserved sarcophagus from the 18th dynasty." It's in a mummy case and the hope is that it's still there in tact. (They haven't seen it.) You can guess the rest as Herman drives Marilyn to the museum for a school project, falls asleep (after experimenting with Grandpa's sleeping-alarm clock pill) inside the mummy case, and, when the lid is opened at a big press conference the next day - surprise!!!
There are some good lines in here, such as Harrington's, when he remarks - after Lily comes to the museum looking for Herman - "When the visitors start looking weirder than the exhibits I think it's time to get out of the museum business!"
The fun really comes when Herman gets out of the coffin and spooks Harrington and a stuffed gorilla! (Don't ask.)
