The "Family Affair" set is used again as Cinnamon's apartment.
Two days worth of film was shot of Steven Hill in and around the studio streets and the jungle set. But late on the second day Hill halted production by refusing to play the scene where he runs up the sound stage staircase and into the rafters, thereby making two days of film unusable. He was suspended and replaced by Tom Troupe as the character David Day.
The camera crane used to move Cinnamon Carter (Barbara Bain) from stage to office is a Chapman/Leonard Titan. Developed in the 1950s, they were (with their extensive reach and all-terrain chassis) mainstays of American film and television production through the second half of the 20th century. In recent years, they have been supplanted by telescopic camera cranes.
