Matlock is offered a liquor drink from Nelson Adelson that Matlock refuses and replies to the effect that, "..all that stuff tastes like lighter fluid." In the hit film No Time for Sergeants (1958), starring Andy Griffith his character states he never drank store bought liquor, only the corn grain and kerosene liquor his daddy made. When others can't believe how much Griffith's character drank without getting drunk, they end up mixing some lighter fluid to Griffith's drink in an attempt to get him intoxicated.
When Conrad is following Nelson (eventually to the pool hall), the "chase" starts on Ventura Boulevard in Studio City, not Atlanta.
Conrad has a classic Mustang. When he is tailing someone you can see his antenna is broken. Odd, since he really takes care of his car.
