The horse stables where the young woman is shown riding at the beginning of the episode are the same ones used in Missing: Sun and Sky (1969) from earlier this season.
The building where the kidnappers hide the nerve gas, and that serves as the fictional "Mopado" City Hall (supposedly in a rural county four hours from Los Angeles) is actually the Pasadena City Hall in Los Angeles County. This building has been used repeatedly throughout the years for important office buildings. It was used as the Pawnee City Hall throughout the run of the recent Parks and Recreation TV show.
