TC is the center of this episode as he reconnects with Alexis (played by Leslie Uggams) who he met when she sung for the troops in Vietnam during the Vietnam War.
Anyway, the ending was quite dramatic and incredibly sad, and completely unexpected. TC's heart would have been broken big time, so it was a shock to see Alexis's fate off the cliff.
I'm enjoying watching the early seasons of Magnum, P. I., particularly with the sun-swept beaches and the hustle and bustle of the streets of Honolulu. Anyway, I'm also catching up on early seasons of Father Brown and Law and Order. I have no time to watch the Magnum reboot.
