Here Magnum heads off to the Big Island of Hawaii to sort out some cattle rustlers who are running amok. This is a different locale to the usual ones of swaying palms, beaches, hotel pools and women in skimpy bikinis that Magnum, P. I. is accustomed to.
But at least T. C. turns up in his helicopter so the gang gets together at least.
Season six also saw Magnum and Co in the United Kingdom, and it's a shame they didn't go to other localities such as New York and Bangkok and Iceland. In some ways season six is like the mid-life reflective season, with season seven having a cross-over with Murder, She Wrote (!).
